Property Accountant – Makati Office

About the role

Under limited supervision, the Property Accountant will apply cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare, analyze, and deliver accurate financial reports for a portfolio of CBRE clients and properties in Makati. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial statement preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Complete intermediate to advanced accounting transactions and create client financial statement packages.
• Post journal entries, ensure accurate posting of expenses, receipts, owner distributions, and funding requests.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, perform bank reconciliations, and analyze dues schedules.
• Coordinate with property managers to ensure procedural compliance, evaluate annual budgets, and assist with recovery reconciliations.
• Work with Billing and Collection to maintain accounts receivable and support acquisition processes.
• Review and audit funding and payment requests for accuracy and proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in property management accounting or real‑estate finance.
• At least 2 years handling year‑end audit and tax compliance.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and understanding of property management and real‑estate development.
• Willingness to work onsite in Makati City.
