Project Site Nurse

About the role

The Project Site Nurse ensures the health and safety of workers on construction or industrial sites, delivering first‑aid treatment, supporting emergency preparedness and maintaining compliance with occupational health regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety of all site personnel.
• Provide immediate first‑aid and medical treatment for injuries or illnesses.
• Assist with emergency preparedness planning and response.
• Conduct health screenings and monitor workers’ wellbeing.
• Ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN) or equivalent qualification.
• Registered Nurse licence in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Additional certifications in first aid, CPR or occupational health may be required.
• Experience in emergency nursing, occupational health or field healthcare, preferably in industrial or construction settings.

Required skills

• First‑aid and emergency care proficiency.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
• Strong communication with workers, site managers and external healthcare providers.
• Organizational ability to maintain medical records and manage supplies.
