Project Manager – Life Sciences Portfolio Lead

About the role

As a Project Manager you will lead strategic and operational initiatives across the life‑science value chain, guiding programmes from concept through delivery while ensuring governance, cross‑functional alignment and measurable outcomes in a regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of projects across multiple business units, aligning them with strategic objectives and maintaining long‑term roadmaps.
• Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, mitigate risks and ensure deliverables meet quality, compliance and business requirements.
• Oversee project and portfolio budgets, forecast costs and optimise resource allocation across project teams.
• Lead process‑reengineering initiatives using Six Sigma and internal audit frameworks to improve Order‑to‑Cash, inventory and supply‑demand planning.
• Drive change‑management activities, including impact assessments, communication plans and stakeholder engagement.
• Coach and develop a team of Project Managers and Business Process Analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and operational excellence.

Required profile

• Minimum seven years of experience in project or programme management, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotech or medical devices.
• Hands‑on experience in regulated environments such as GxP or GMP.
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, business or a related field.

Required skills

• PMP certification.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash processes.
• Experience with ERP transformations and digital/analytics initiatives.
