Project Manager – Lead Complex Tech Projects

About the role

Seven Consulting is seeking a full‑time Project Manager to own a flagship technology transformation worth approximately A$10 million. You will be the central point of accountability for delivering the project on schedule, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards while championing the company’s core values of teamwork, transparency and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a high‑value, complex tech project, ensuring milestones are met and benefits realised.
• Develop and maintain a transparent roadmap with measurable KPIs, uniting clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Provide crystal‑clear status reporting through live dashboards and proactive communications.
• Coach junior project managers, share best‑practice playbooks and drive continuous improvement.
• Select and apply the most suitable delivery approach – waterfall, agile or hybrid – based on project needs.
• Maintain composure under pressure, safeguarding schedules when unexpected issues arise.

Required profile

• Multiple successful deliveries of A$10 million+ projects for Tier‑1 clients.
• Exceptional stakeholder‑management skills, from C‑suite executives to external vendors.
• Leadership qualities that inspire confidence and repeat collaboration.
• Strong commitment to integrity, straight‑talk communication and relentless follow‑through.
