Project Management Specialist (Deputy Project Manager)

About the role

The Project Management Specialist will support the implementation of the EU‑Philippines Green Economy Partnership (SO2) under UNDP Philippines. Working closely with the Project Manager and UNDP Climate Action Programme Team, the role ensures project targets are met with quality and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and assistance for the overall implementation of the EU‑PH Green Economy Partnership (GEP‑SO2) project.
• Support day‑to‑day project management, including implementation, delivery, quality checks and documentation of progress.
• Identify innovative, context‑specific engagement opportunities and act as sub‑lead in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Unit, UNDP Climate Action Programme Team, Philippines Country Office, Bangkok Regional Hub and EU partners.

Required profile

• Experience in project management within UNDP or similar development agencies.
• Knowledge of circular economy, climate change mitigation, and gender equality (GEDSI) principles.
• Ability to work with multi‑stakeholder teams across government, private sector and civil society.
