Project Management Officer – Airport Infrastructure

About the role

The Project Management Officer (PMO) will lead governance and standardised tracking of capital infrastructure projects across the Mactan‑Cebu International Airport ecosystem. Reporting to senior management, the PMO ensures that technical engineering designs align with business objectives and that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with managed risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce project governance frameworks and standardised tracking processes.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, risk registers and stakeholder approvals.
• Coordinate cross‑departmental compliance and ensure alignment between engineering designs and business goals.
• Provide regular status reports and dashboards to senior leadership.
• Facilitate risk mitigation strategies and budget adjustments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Aviation Management or an Engineering discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in a PMO or project management role, with at least 3 years managing complex infrastructure projects such as airports, malls, hospitals or transit hubs.
• Proven experience working directly with technical engineering teams or multidisciplinary design firms.
• Professional certification (PMP or PRINCE2) is a plus.

Required skills

• High proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit (or equivalent enterprise planning tools).
