Project Architect

About the role

Ayala Malls is seeking a Project Architect to support design development and execution of retail and property development projects. The role works from concept through construction, ensuring quality, functionality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior/Lead Design Architect in creating design concepts and studies.
• Coordinate with consultants and project teams to guarantee design quality, completeness and timely delivery.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, technical discussions and resolve design issues.
• Prepare design presentations and supporting materials for management approval.
• Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs/RFAs and resolve design‑related concerns.
• Conduct in‑house design studies, produce project documentation and offer administrative support as required.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Registered and licensed architect with minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in retail design or property development.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction standards and all phases of the design process.
• Excellent communication, creative thinking, planning and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, people‑management and business/financial awareness.
