Procurement Buyer – Pumps

About the role

The Procurement Buyer (Pumps) will manage the end‑to‑end purchasing process for pump components, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to support production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Review and convert purchase requisitions into accurate purchase orders.
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers; request and compare quotations.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and lead times while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse, logistics, and requestor departments to align procurement priorities.
• Monitor order fulfillment, track supplier performance, and prepare spending reports.
• Ensure all purchases comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and supply‑chain management.
• Commitment to business ethics and integrity.

Required skills

• ERP/Procurement systems proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
