Contract Manufacturer/Subcon Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Contract Manufacturer/Subcon Planner to develop and maintain production plans for our contract manufacturers, ensuring alignment with demand forecasts and customer requirements. The role works closely with manufacturing partners to keep schedules on track and support new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans based on demand forecasts and customer needs.
• Coordinate with contract manufacturers to ensure adherence to schedules and delivery commitments.
• Monitor material availability and ensure timely supply to support production.
• Track and manage inventory levels of finished goods, work‑in‑process, and raw materials.
• Expedite critical orders and proactively resolve supply or production issues.
• Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams on supplier capacity and constraints.
• Analyze demand fluctuations and adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems (forecasts, orders, inventory, lead times).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) planning and ramp‑up activities.
• Generate planning reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives with contract manufacturers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in planning or supply‑chain functions.
• Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Oracle (advantageous).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for forecasting and inventory management.
