Planning Engineer (Project Controls)

About the role

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to join our team in Pasig City. The role focuses on developing and maintaining project schedules, supporting risk management and claims processes, and ensuring that project timelines align with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules for tender, consultancy and construction phases using Primavera P6 and MS Project, including “what‑if” scenarios.
• Coordinate with design, construction and contract administration teams to align schedules with project objectives.
• Produce progress and productivity reports, calculate material volumes and analyse productivity data.
• Maintain organised schedule‑related records to support defensibility in claims or disputes.
• Identify schedule risks, issue early warnings and assist in drafting programme‑related correspondence.
• Support claims analysis, perform first‑pass delay analysis for EOT claims and help prepare detailed EOT reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 4‑7 years of experience in planning, scheduling or project controls, preferably on marine, coastal or infrastructure projects.
• Basic understanding of contractual claims processes and delay analysis techniques.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, meeting tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (advantage).
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
