Pharmacovigilance Specialist

About the role

Cognizant is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join its drug‑safety team in Taguig. You will be responsible for processing safety cases, ensuring data quality, and supporting regulatory labeling activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform case processing activities such as book‑in, data entry, narrative writing (I‑Narrative) and medical/product coding.
• Conduct quality checks using online QC tools, perform un‑blinding when required, and verify completeness and accuracy of case documentation.
• Manage end‑to‑end case workflow, including routing, closure/lock, and labeling tasks (e.g., USPI labeling) in line with established procedures and timelines.

Required profile

• Philippines‑registered Nurse (license optional) or Registered Pharmacist.
• 1‑2 years of safety case processing experience in pharmacovigilance.
• Familiarity with safety databases such as Veeva Safety Database or Argus.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work onsite during training and hybrid (3 days onsite per week) thereafter.
