Part-time Physics Teacher – Ternate

About the role

Ruangguru is looking for a part‑time Physics teacher to join its English Academy in Ternate. You will deliver live English lessons to students of various ages, support their learning journey, and collaborate with fellow Master Teachers.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes to students across different grade levels in a classroom setting.
• Provide coaching, mentorship and act as a buddy for other Master Teachers to improve teaching effectiveness.
• Conduct consultations with students and parents together with a Student Advisor to recommend suitable learning pathways and ensure continued enrollment.
• Run Homework Clinics to help students overcome academic challenges.
• Participate in trial classes, share best practices with regional teams, and contribute to educational initiatives.
• Meet the minimum required number of teaching and trial sessions each month.
• Maintain good relationships with branch staff and other stakeholders to ensure smooth class operations.
• Develop learning materials and assignments that align with the curriculum and enhance student outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a field relevant to the subject taught.
• Experience teaching very young learners is a plus.
• Proactive, willing to try new teaching methods, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment.
• Available to teach at the chosen Ruangguru English Academy branch in Ternate.
