Paralegal – US Family Law (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to support a US‑based family law practice while working remotely from the Philippines. The role involves providing comprehensive client assistance, conducting legal research, and managing case documentation for estate planning, probate, and trust matters.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent client service by handling inquiries, gathering documents, and maintaining strong relationships.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to aid attorneys.
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and financial disclosures.
• Manage e‑filings and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
• Organize case files, schedules, and deadlines using case management tools.
• Coordinate communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.
• Juris Doctor degree.
• Minimum three years of proven experience as a family law paralegal in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures, terminology, and document preparation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe applications.
• Experience using WestLaw legal research platform.
• Familiarity with Clio case management software.
