Panda3D Game Developer (Python & C++) – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a skilled 3D Game Developer with deep experience in Panda3D to create interactive simulations and games. The role is fully remote and offers flexible weekly hours ranging from 10 to 40.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine 3D game and simulation features using Panda3D.
• Develop custom tools and gameplay systems that enable flexible scripting.
• Collaborate with developers, artists, and researchers to translate requirements into efficient, maintainable code.
• Optimize performance across diverse hardware and deployment environments.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle: prototyping, development, release, and maintenance.
• Document technical concepts clearly and stay updated on Panda3D advancements.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Panda3D for 3D game or interactive application development.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for gameplay logic, scripting, and tool creation.
• Solid understanding of 3D graphics, game loops, and simulation architectures.
• Ability to design adaptable systems for varied use cases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality code and innovative 3D solutions.
