Outpatient Nurse (RN)

About the role

The Outpatient Nurse (RN) will join the team at Tebow CURE Children’s Hospital in Davao City, providing nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic and reconstructive surgeries. The role focuses on ambulatory treatment, follow‑up, and coordination with the multidisciplinary medical team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians during patient hospitalization and outpatient procedures.
• Screen and investigate cases to determine need for admission.
• Deliver effective ambulatory treatment and post‑discharge rehabilitation support.
• Monitor and control communicable diseases, adhering to infection‑prevention protocols.
• Coordinate workflow with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow‑up instructions.
• Prepare, sterilize, and arrange instruments and equipment for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with a variety of approved medical procedures and rotate to other clinical areas (OR, ward) as required.

Required profile

• Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience in outpatient or orthopedic nursing preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to educate patients.
• Commitment to infection control and occupational safety standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices.
• Proficiency in handling and sterilizing medical instruments.
• Ability to operate basic clinical equipment used in outpatient settings.
