.NET Developer

About the role

Amex Global Business Travel is seeking an ASP.NET MVC Software Developer to design, develop, deploy, and maintain applications that support our travel services and business operations. The role focuses on modernising legacy systems, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and enhancing backend efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex programming tasks to migrate legacy applications to an ASP.NET MVC environment and modify systems for cybersecurity compliance.
• Diagnose, isolate, and resolve software issues, monitor system capacity, and ensure connectivity to vendor APIs.
• Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and adhere to development standards and security requirements.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support, execute disaster recovery procedures, and collaborate on system specifications, design, testing, and code documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with ASP.NET, C#, and MVC framework.
• At least 2 years of experience with jQuery, AJAX, and React.js.
• Strong background in SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL (minimum 3 years).
• Experience using Visual Studio 2019/2022 and working with REST and SOAP APIs.
