About the role
The National Key Accounts Lead will be the primary liaison between the company and its assigned national key accounts in the Philippines, driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and managing financial performance.
Key responsibilities
- Business development: act as the primary point of contact for assigned national key accounts, negotiate sell‑in initiatives, manage contracts and trading terms, and drive profit growth.
- Operations management: orient accounts on proper product handling, monitor order fulfilment, retrieve bad orders, and conduct regular service reviews.
- Accounts receivable management: track ageing trial balances, prepare credit applications, and handle approvals for order releases and bad‑debt write‑offs.
- Resource planning: manage direct‑marketing expense budgets, coordinate deployment of commercial assets, forecast capex needs, and monitor merchandiser productivity.
- Administrative duties: analyse sales and contract data, maintain customer databases, and produce account factbooks and connection banks.
Required profile
- 2–3 years experience managing national key accounts, preferably in supermarket chains such as Robinsons or Metro Gaisano.
- Strong communication, analytical and negotiation abilities.
- Valid professional driver’s license.
