Mobile Frontend Developer

About the role

As a Mobile Frontend Developer at Bridgit, you will shape the user experience of our lending platform across customer, broker, and internal tools. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to turn designs into high‑quality, intuitive mobile interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop performant, delightful user interfaces for mobile platforms using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to implement feature designs across customer‑facing and internal software.
• Write robust, well‑tested code and proactively identify areas for technical improvement or refactoring.
• Share ideas and improvements backed by sound technical reasoning.
• Contribute to design and code reviews, support peers, and maintain the technical bar of the team.
• Mentor and elevate other engineers, championing best practices and a culture of quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a front‑end mobile developer.
• Hands‑on experience building and shipping mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience with the Expo framework and mobile deployment workflows.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design patterns.
• Experience integrating mobile applications with APIs and third‑party services.
• Familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.
• Comfortable taking ownership of features end‑to‑end from architecture to delivery.
