Medical Physicist (Cancer Care)

About the role

Calamba Medical Center is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Medical Physicist to support its cancer care services. The role involves designing and overseeing radiation treatment plans, ensuring accurate dosimetry, and maintaining the highest standards of radiation safety.

Key responsibilities

• Design and supervise radiation therapy treatment plans.
• Perform accurate dosimetry calculations and verification.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols for staff and patients.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiation therapy equipment.
• Participate in quality‑assurance programs and equipment calibration activities.
• Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Stay current with advances in medical physics and oncology.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Medical Physics or a related physical science (PhD preferred).
• Certification in Medical Physics or eligibility for board certification (highly preferred).
• Clinical experience in radiation oncology is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
