Medical Advisor

About the role

The Medical Advisor will provide medical, scientific and strategic leadership across assigned therapeutic areas and product portfolios for Zuellig Pharma. This field‑based position supports the development and execution of medical strategies, strengthens relationships with key external stakeholders, and ensures all activities align with business objectives and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement medical strategies and plans that support brand and business goals.
• Provide scientific expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders on assigned products.
• Deliver scientific presentations and participate in conferences, advisory boards and symposia.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and academic institutions.
• Identify unmet medical needs and generate insights for portfolio growth and lifecycle management.
• Respond to medical inquiries and support scientific communications.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Regulatory, Legal, Market Access and Pharmacovigilance teams to ensure compliant execution of initiatives.
• Review and approve promotional, educational and patient‑related materials.
• Support medical training programs for field force and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions, label updates and business development opportunities.
• Manage medical activity budgets and ensure efficient execution of approved plans.

Required profile

• Scientifically driven healthcare professional with strong business acumen.
• Ability to translate complex medical information into actionable insights.
• Proven credibility in building relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals.
