Mechanical Technician

About the role

Eram Talent is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its Oil and Energy division. The successful candidate will ensure that mechanical systems and components across various projects are installed, maintained, and operated efficiently, supporting the delivery of high‑quality solutions for clients in the oil, energy, and petrochemical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical systems and components in oil and energy projects.
• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Monitor and inspect mechanical work to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, recommending effective repair solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics related to mechanical projects.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to deliver effective mechanical solutions.
• Participate in the commissioning and start‑up of new mechanical systems.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a vocational certificate in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance within a large utility, petrochemical, or refinery environment.
• Proven experience in repair, maintenance, servicing, and overhaul of mechanical and electro‑mechanical equipment.
• Familiarity with measuring and testing instruments.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
