Material Planning Specialist

About the role

The Material Planning Specialist will ensure seamless material flow for cost‑reduction projects, new product launches and daily production at our plant. You will work closely with production planning, factories and suppliers to guarantee material availability while optimizing inventory and logistics costs.

Key responsibilities

• Implement cost‑reduction project timelines and monitor material shortage alerts.
• Coordinate corrective actions with cross‑functional teams to resolve material availability issues affecting the production loading plan.
• Maintain inventory, logistics cost and supplier delivery performance within target levels.
• Secure raw‑material supply for ADAS new‑product launches from early gate stages through SOP.
• Identify and qualify second‑source suppliers for critical raw materials.
• Collaborate with Production Planning and Focus Factory Managers to align material communication with production schedules.
• Apply SAP advanced planning tools to balance service level, inventory and resource utilization.
• Ensure accuracy of Material Master Data in the SAP system.
• Support CSR activities, environmental audits and compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material and inventory management, production planning or warehouse management.
• Proven experience with new‑product launches and production start‑ups.
• International or intercultural work experience is a plus.
