Manufacturing Technician III

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician III ensures smooth operation of both automatic and manual production equipment on the assembly line. You will be responsible for set‑up, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair to minimise downtime while upholding product quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain machine performance to meet production targets.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance and equipment changeovers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and execute timely repairs.
• Document maintenance activities, equipment performance and downtime.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams to resolve issues and drive process improvements.
• Implement 5S+1 and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) practices.

Required profile

• Graduate of vocational, technical or diploma courses; associate degree in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical or Automation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar production or manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, SOPs and part drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and basic computer skills for logging maintenance data.
• Experience with continuous‑improvement methodologies.
