Manager of Cyber Security Operations

About the role

CyTech International is looking for a driven Manager of Cyber Security Operations to act as the right‑hand to the Director of Cyber Security Operations and Head of Strategic Accounts. This senior leadership position oversees the day‑to‑day activities of the Philippine security team and steps in to lead client relationships and delivery when the Director is unavailable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of ~20 security professionals through four functional managers.
• Set priorities, enforce deadlines, remove blockers and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑ones, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
• Serve as the trusted point of contact for assigned clients, building credibility within the first month.
• Represent CyTech in client meetings, status reviews and reporting, communicating professionally in English.
• Oversee cyber security operations: monitoring, incident handling, escalation and audit support (ISO, HIPAA, COPPA, GDPR, NIST, SOC).
• Drive security policy development, GRC work and phishing simulation programs via the AQUILA platform.
• Act as senior on‑site authority during the Director’s absence, making operational and client decisions.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in information security or security operations, including people‑management experience.
• Proven ability to lead managers and large technical teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (spoken, written, typed).
• Strong organizational, decision‑making and client‑facing abilities.
