AI Engineer

About the role

NeoDay is seeking an AI Engineer to join its team in the Philippines. The position is open only to candidates located in Cagayan De Oro City or Cebu and focuses on building and scaling AI‑powered solutions within the company’s platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop AI‑driven applications and system integrations.
• Work with large language models (LLMs), retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) architectures, and vector databases.
• Create automation workflows using n8n.
• Collaborate closely with product and development teams to deliver reliable AI features.
• Monitor and improve AI performance, reliability, and scalability.

Required profile

• Must reside in Cagayan De Oro City or Cebu.
• Strong backend development experience.
• Proficiency with PHP, MySQL, NGINX, PHP‑FPM and Redis.
• Experience following PSR standards and working with Core PHP.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Git, Kubernetes and basic DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs and RAG architectures.
• Experience using n8n or similar workflow automation tools.
• Comfortable with APIs and cloud services.
• Self‑driven, proactive attitude.
