Manager, MRO & Projects Procurement

About the role

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Manager to lead the procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies and capital project materials. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimization to support manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for MRO and capital projects aligned with corporate objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers; negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships.
• Analyze market trends, negotiate pricing, and drive cost‑saving initiatives.
• Oversee procurement activities for capital projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels for MRO items to avoid production delays.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and internal procurement policies.
• Track KPIs, analyze procurement data, and report insights to stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, providing training and performance oversight.

Required profile

• Engineering background (civil, mechanical, electrical, or structural).
• Proven experience in MRO and projects procurement within a manufacturing environment.
