Maintenance Technician – Ballesteros

About the role

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of small to medium‑sized buildings and their mechanical, electrical, and other systems. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute corrective actions.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders, track completion using internal systems, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support energy management by maintaining efficient operation of all building systems.
• Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Follow established procedures to resolve straightforward problems and communicate findings clearly.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Physical ability to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders, and lift/carry loads of 50 lb or more.
• Capability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication skills for clear information exchange.
• Strong organizational mindset with an inquisitive approach.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
