About the role
SMGP is seeking a full‑time Legal Officer to join its team in Pasig. The role focuses on providing comprehensive legal support across corporate, business and contract matters, ensuring the company’s operations remain compliant and well‑protected.
Key responsibilities
- Provide legal consulting on corporate, business and contract law issues.
- Oversee corporate housekeeping and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
- Advise on labor and commercial law matters.
- Support SMGP’s day‑to‑day operations with timely legal guidance.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws (Juris Doctor) with a focus on corporate, labor or commercial law.
- Passed the Philippine Bar Examination.
- Minimum six years of experience in corporate housekeeping, contracts management, and legal consulting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively within a team.
