Legal and Regulatory Officer

About the role

The Legal and Regulatory Officer will safeguard the company’s legal interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Reporting to senior management, this role provides strategic legal counsel across corporate, labor, finance, and partnership matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review and negotiate agreements, contracts, and other legal documents to protect the company’s rights.
• Provide accurate, timely legal advice to executives on labor law, corporate finance, partnerships, and compliance issues.
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective compliance and risk‑management strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements and legal documents.
• Represent and support the company in legal disputes and corporate matters when required.

Required profile

• Licensed lawyer (Bar passer) with at least five years of relevant corporate legal experience.
• Proven experience working in a business or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of corporate law, labor law, and legal procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to create proactive legal and risk‑management strategies.
• High professional ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
