Learning & Development Associate

About the role

The Learning & Development Associate will support Meralco’s talent growth by designing, delivering and evaluating learning interventions. You will work closely with line managers to identify performance gaps and create programs that enhance employee capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis with business units to determine learning and performance improvement requirements.
• Design and develop learning interventions using the ADDIE framework.
• Manage the delivery of training programs through both traditional classroom and digital platforms.
• Prepare instructional materials, checklists, reports and documentation for each learning initiative.
• Evaluate program effectiveness using modern evaluation tools and techniques.

Required profile

• Degree in Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resource Management, Communication or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in training implementation, classroom management and facilitation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Effective team player, organized and able to generate creative ideas.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ADDIE instructional design framework.
• Experience creating print and video materials using Canva and Menti.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, especially Excel.
• Data visualization expertise with Power BI.
