Lead Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Enterprise Cybersecurity Engineer, you will drive Dexcom’s enterprise security initiatives, shaping strategy and execution for AI automation, data loss prevention, cloud security, zero‑trust networking, privileged access, and identity management. You will act as a trusted expert, mentor, and collaborator across engineering, privacy, compliance, and vendor teams to strengthen the company’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and co‑lead security infrastructure projects and manage the deployment of enterprise‑wide controls.
• Design, implement, and tune solutions such as DLP, CASB, ZTNA, PAM, EPM, IAM, SWG, UBA, EDR, SIEM, MDM, NAC, and AI automation.
• Provide security consulting, influence adoption of best practices, and publish practical standards.
• Perform security and vendor assessments, conduct design reviews, and identify risks.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security throughout the organization.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise security engineering and leading complex security programs.
• Proven ability to work across multiple disciplines and translate security requirements into actionable solutions.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills.
• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments is a plus.
