Laundry Runner

About the role

The Laundry Runner supports the hotel’s laundry operation by handling the final stages of the laundry cycle, including pressing, pick‑up, and delivery of uniforms and guest items. The role focuses on providing a seamless, high‑quality service that enhances the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect laundry, pressing, and dry‑cleaning items from guests or room attendants.
• Verify quantities against the laundry list and attach the list to each bag.
• Deliver items to the Laundry Checker and assist with quality checks and packing.
• Ensure timely delivery of processed items and complete the Valet Delivery control form.
• Notify guests who prefer not to be disturbed using the DO NOT DISTURB card.
• Maintain clean and presentable laundry baskets and trolleys.
• Perform pressing and finishing tasks using appropriate equipment, temperature, and techniques for each fabric type.
• Operate and maintain finishing equipment, record production when required, and report any faults immediately.
• Keep the finishing area clean and support other laundry areas as needed.
• Follow all company policies and perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• At least six months of experience in a large‑scale commercial laundry or a five‑star hotel laundry.
• College‑level education preferred.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Operation of press/finishing equipment.
• Computer literacy.
