About the role
GECO Asia Philippines is seeking a motivated L1 Technical Support professional to join its Manila office. The role focuses on providing first‑line assistance for hardware, software, system and cloud‑related issues while supporting day‑to‑day operations of the IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, system and cloud concerns.
- Assist in monitoring and managing cloud‑based services.
- Troubleshoot basic system, network and user issues.
- Escalate complex problems to higher‑level support teams.
- Support system maintenance, installations, upgrades and deployments.
- Help implement security measures to protect data integrity.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting steps and resolutions accurately.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Required profile
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in technical support, system administration or cloud support.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work onsite in Manila.
Required skills
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and operating systems.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting.
