Key Control Tester

About the role

As a Key Control Tester at the Control Hub Manila, you will test the effectiveness of key controls across ING's global operations on behalf of First Line Management. You will assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls in financial, operational, regulatory and compliance processes, working with stakeholders from different countries to strengthen ING's risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

• Perform key controls testing, including process walkthroughs, testing execution, documentation and evaluation.
• Assess controls across financial, operational, regulatory and compliance processes.
• Work within a Key Control Testing (KCT) Circle with fellow testers, service delivery leads, control owners and business stakeholders to identify risks and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Experience performing end-to-end key controls testing.
• Strong understanding of risk and controls concepts.
• Ability to navigate a complex organization and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in internal audit, external audit, controls testing, risk management or related fields.
• CIA or CPA certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage ambiguity.
• Familiarity with banking processes, SOx, regulatory reporting, KYC, FATCA or financial controls is beneficial.
• MS Office; Power BI or Power Automate is an advantage.
