Key Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Key Account Manager to lead business development and account management within modern trade and key customer channels. The role focuses on building strong partnerships with retail accounts, driving sales growth, and ensuring in‑store excellence aligned with company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen partnerships with key customers through regular engagement and strategic business plans.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor weekly trends, and recommend actions to meet sales and distribution targets.
• Design and execute tailored trade programs and promotional initiatives to boost visibility and category leadership.
• Analyze customer POS data, market trends, and shopper behavior to guide strategy and uncover new opportunities.
• Manage inventory, merchandising, and on‑shelf availability to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee accounts receivable, trade budgets, and documentation to maintain cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) for seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 4‑year college program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of progressive sales experience, ideally as a Key Account Specialist or similar role in FMCG, with exposure to modern trade.
• Proven track record in sales achievement, business development and account management.
• Strong knowledge of sales operations, supply‑chain coordination and financial metrics (P&L, ROI, A/R).
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and presentation abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and intermediate driving skills.
