Key Account Manager – General Merchandise

About the role

As a Key Account Manager you will own the performance of a portfolio of sellers on the Lazada platform, driving sales growth and improving buyer experience. You will act as a trusted partner, combining strategic planning with day‑to‑day operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned seller accounts, ensuring growth in sales, orders and buyer acquisition.
• Develop and execute marketing and sales initiatives to expand assortment and boost visibility.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, finance) to meet targets such as DAU, conversion rate and on‑time shipping.
• Lead negotiations, coordinate campaigns and advise sellers on emerging market trends.
• Analyse performance data, generate insights and provide actionable recommendations to sellers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum).
• Experience in e‑commerce, sales, account management, retail or business development.
• Proven track record of delivering results, negotiating and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Adaptable, resilient and comfortable with changing priorities.
• Strong analytical mindset and business acumen.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a growth‑learning mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; Mandarin is a plus.
