Junior Facilities Assistant

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a Junior Facilities Assistant to help maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workplace at its Cebu IT Tower 2 location. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to start a career in facilities operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement house rules, regulations and FaCS policies to ensure a standard and safe working environment.
• Maintain the department expense tracker, ensuring accurate encoding of all incurred costs.
• Monitor office supplies, furniture and facility items, conduct physical asset counts and prepare regular management reports.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance schedules, repairs and site renovations.
• Perform daily site rounds to verify compliance with FaCS standards and provide data for technical breakdowns.
• Assist in emergency preparedness training and enforce physical security controls.
• Execute procurement tasks, including purchase requisitions, vendor quotations and timely payment of service providers.
• Support workplace strategy by helping with facility moves, set‑ups and seat‑plan coordination with the IT department.

Required profile

• Open to fresh graduates (up to 6 months internship) with a bachelor’s degree or related field.
• Strong organizational abilities and experience in inventory management and expense tracking.
• Ability to conduct physical site inspections and perform basic technical troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills for resolving staff and client concerns.
