Jr. DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. You will help build, automate, and maintain our cloud infrastructure while ensuring security, performance, and reliability across development, staging, and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure operational environments based on approved solution architecture.
• Deploy, install, configure, and test software and hardware in development, staging, and production.
• Develop scripts and automation tools for configuration, deployment, and testing.
• Monitor system, network, database, and application performance; log issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Implement security controls, manage access levels, firewalls, and authentication mechanisms.
• Conduct scheduled audits and recommend improvements for performance, security, and quality.
• Participate in project scoping, provide technical guidance, and evaluate solution designs.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in systems administration, IT operations, or development.
• Hands‑on knowledge of AWS architecture (no certification required).
• Linux administration experience with Debian/Ubuntu or RHEL/CentOS.
• Proficiency in command‑line operations and Bash scripting.
• Database administration skills (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Version control experience with Git or SVN.
• Familiarity with web technologies (PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API services (REST, SOAP).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Ansible.
