IT Support Specialist

About the role

RISE is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide high‑quality hardware and software assistance to its business and wholesale partners in the Philippines. You will be the first point of contact for technical issues, ensuring rapid resolution and maintaining system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the routine contact point, receiving and handling support requests for hardware and software issues.
• Provide first‑line investigation, diagnosis, and allocate unresolved issues appropriately.
• Record details of all installed and removed components.
• Assist in developing and applying standards for tracking, monitoring, reporting, and escalating issues.
• Create and maintain support documentation.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades to keep systems up‑to‑date.
• Support research on needs and costs for hardware, software, or equipment upgrades.
• Execute IT developments such as system modifications, updates, migrations within established timeframes.
• Apply and maintain security controls per organisational policy and local risk assessments.
• Assist investigations of suspected attacks and security breaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science.
• Minimum 3 years of end‑to‑end IT management experience.
• Highly customer‑focused with strong communication skills.
• Dependable, responsive in urgent situations, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience implementing, configuring and testing IT solutions.
• Technical management of equipment, software and operational systems.
• System performance monitoring, backup and recovery procedures.
• Experience with security controls and incident investigation.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (preferred).
