IT Support Intern

About the role

The IT Support Intern will join Bosch's IT team to provide first‑level technical assistance to end‑users. This hands‑on internship offers practical experience in troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues while working in a professional IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve IT support requests from end‑users.
• Troubleshoot hardware problems (computers, peripherals, accessories).
• Diagnose and fix software issues, including operating systems and applications.
• Address network connectivity problems (LAN, Wi‑Fi) and telephony issues.
• Escalate complex cases to senior IT staff.
• Assist with installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Perform routine system checks, updates and peripheral setup.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and support documentation.
• Follow IT security policies and help implement security measures.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Available to commit at least 500 hours in a full‑time internship.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work onsite and occasional lifting of equipment.
• May need to work after‑hours or weekends for system maintenance with prior notice.
