IT Specialist

About the role

RISE is seeking an IT Specialist to support its mission of accelerating internet connectivity across the Philippines. The role involves handling hardware and software support requests, maintaining system reliability, and contributing to the company’s digital initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for hardware and software support requests.
• Provide first‑line investigation, diagnosis, and escalation of unresolved issues.
• Record installation and removal of IT components and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist in developing and applying standards for tracking, monitoring, and reporting incidents.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and ensure smooth operation of current infrastructure.
• Support research on hardware, software, and equipment upgrades, including cost assessments.
• Execute IT developments such as system modifications, updates, migrations, and security controls.
• Investigate suspected attacks and security breaches in line with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of end‑to‑end IT management experience.
• Strong customer focus with the ability to handle conflict resolution positively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with non‑technical users.
• High dependability, especially in urgent or time‑sensitive situations.
• Commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
