IT Security Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an IT Security Specialist to lead day‑to‑day security operations, proactive threat hunting and cyber‑threat‑intelligence analysis. The role will strengthen our security posture by detecting, investigating and responding to incidents across the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, triage, contain and handle security incidents and alerts.
• Conduct proactive threat‑hunting activities to uncover suspicious or malicious behavior.
• Create, tune and maintain detection rules in SIEM platforms, particularly Microsoft Sentinel.
• Analyze cyber‑threat‑intelligence feeds, indicators of compromise and emerging threats.
• Perform threat‑actor profiling, TTP analysis and mapping using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Manage the IOC lifecycle: validation, enrichment, tracking and operationalization.
• Utilize CTI platforms such as Recorded Future for research and analysis.
• Investigate phishing, malware, endpoint, identity, cloud and network incidents.
• Correlate logs, telemetry and intelligence data to identify attack patterns.
• Present findings and security recommendations to technical teams and management.
• Coordinate incident response and remediation with internal stakeholders.
• Continuously improve SOC processes, use cases, playbooks and detection coverage.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in SOC operations, incident response, threat hunting or cyber‑threat‑intelligence.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms, especially Microsoft Sentinel.
• Strong knowledge of cyber‑threat‑intelligence concepts, threat‑actor profiling and MITRE ATT&CK.
• Proven ability to create and tune analytic rules, detections and correlation logic.
• Excellent analytical, investigative and communication skills.
