IT End User Support Specialist

About the role

The IT End User Support Specialist provides both on‑site and remote assistance to employees, ensuring that hardware, software, and network issues are resolved quickly and efficiently. The role combines hands‑on troubleshooting with coordination of vendors and internal teams to keep IT operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Installation, Move, Add, Change (IMAC) tasks, including equipment setup, relocation, swaps, and post‑installation health checks.
• Deliver break‑fix support for hardware and software, manage warranty claims, and coordinate OEM service processes.
• Provide deskside support such as system conflict resolution, user data backup, reimaging, and preventive maintenance for printers and mobile devices.
• Execute hands‑and‑feet instructions from remote teams to service network, server, and storage equipment.
• Offer Level 1 CCTV support, including connectivity checks and basic DVR/NVR navigation.
• Maintain accurate asset inventories, install tracking software, and ensure all endpoints are registered in management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in technical support, help‑desk, or deskside roles.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication with non‑technical users.
• Willingness to learn emerging technologies and adapt to evolving IT practices.
