IT DevOps Support Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT DevOps Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our development and production environments on AWS. The role works closely with development teams, manages cloud services and provides technical support to keep our systems reliable, secure and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Support development and production environments within AWS infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain AWS services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams for deployments, troubleshooting and optimization.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Monitor system performance, logs and alerts using CloudWatch and ELK stack.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automation processes (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
• Apply network and security best practices in AWS environments.
• Produce technical documentation and provide operational support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT operations, development support or a similar role focused on AWS.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, Landing Zone).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK stack).
• Understanding of AWS networking and security principles.
• Hands‑on experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Landing Zone).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
