Internal Audit Officer

About the role

BDOBDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking an Internal Audit Officer to join its audit team in Clark, Pampanga. The role provides independent, objective assessments of the bank’s operations, helping to enhance internal controls, risk management and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑audit briefings to align audit objectives, scope and approach with the audit team.
• Execute fieldwork following approved methodologies and audit program guides.
• Review business unit processes to ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, regulations and laws.
• Investigate incidents that result in losses, gather data and recommend improvements.
• Assess the adequacy of internal controls and risk‑management processes and issue audit opinions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing or a related business field.
• Minimum three years of experience in internal or external auditing, preferably within a bank, financial institution or audit firm.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA or other relevant internal‑audit credentials are preferred.
• Experience in audit, operations, compliance or control reviews is an advantage.
• Willingness to work onsite in Clark, Pampanga.
