Information Technology Programmer

About the role

We are looking for an Information Technology Programmer to support the IT infrastructure of Shangri‑La The Fort, Manila. The role ensures the hotel’s computer systems run smoothly and continuously, enabling reliable guest services and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the hotel’s computer systems and networks to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
• Implement new programs and technologies that enhance hotel services.
• Provide technical support for Windows and macOS workstations, servers, and mobile devices.
• Assist the IT Manager in day‑to‑day department activities and ensure smooth IT operations.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of solid IT experience.
• Self‑starter with strong customer orientation and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Legal right to work unrestricted in the Philippines.

Required skills

• Management of integrated LAN and WAN environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Server 2008/2010 and Windows Server 2008.
• Proficiency in Windows 7, Windows 10, macOS, MS Office 2013 and Outlook.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and/or Oracle databases.
• Network hardware knowledge: routers, switches, cabling.
• CCNA certification (advantageous).
• Understanding of network security policies and Active Directory administration.
