Human Resources Manager

About the role

Metro Oil is seeking a strategic Human Resources Manager to professionalize its people function across headquarters, retail stations, wholesale, trucking, and support teams. Reporting directly to the COO, you will bridge executive strategy and frontline execution to support rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruitment for all business units and build resilient pipelines for high‑turnover operational roles.
• Partner with the COO and department heads to design clear organizational structures, eliminate role overlaps, and define accountability metrics.
• Drive a data‑driven performance review process, coach managers on performance gaps, and launch onboarding and continuous training programs.
• Ensure 100% compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and statutory benefits, while managing employee relations, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
• Coach managers on proper people‑handling, corrective action, and conflict resolution to mitigate operational disruptions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in end‑to‑end recruitment across multiple business units.
• Ability to design organizational structures and define clear accountability metrics.
• Track record of implementing data‑driven performance management systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.
• Strong coaching skills to guide managers on employee relations and conflict resolution.
