Human Resources Coordinator

About the role

The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle. You will ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, off‑boarding, compliance, reporting, learning management, and employee assistance while maintaining confidentiality and legal compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Post openings on Indeed and other job boards; screen candidates and coordinate interviews.
• Manage onboarding tasks in Paychex, verify I‑9, initiate HireRight background checks, and follow established checklists.
• Oversee off‑boarding, conduct exit interviews, and distribute final documentation.
• Maintain the Mineral Learning Management System: add/remove users, create learning tracks, and track training completion.
• Respond to unemployment claims, complete annual EEO‑1 and state salary reports, and handle employment verification requests.
• Generate and analyze HR reports from Paychex (turnover, merit planning, anniversaries, compensation trends, performance reviews) and prepare dashboards for leadership.
• Administer employee recognition programs, support engagement surveys, and manage short‑term disability processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple HR processes simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with employees, managers, and external partners.

Required skills

• Experience with Indeed job board.
• Proficiency in Paychex HR/payroll platform.
• Familiarity with HireRight background check system.
• Knowledge of Mineral Learning Management System.
• Understanding of EEO‑1 reporting and state salary reporting requirements.
