Human Resources Associate – Talent Optimization & Development

About the role

The Human Resources Associate will support talent optimization and development across SMC Infrastructure's business units. You will work closely with department heads to define competencies, assess performance, and build growth pathways for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Department Heads to identify core, functional, and leadership competencies for various roles.
• Maintain and update the Organizational Competency Dictionary to reflect industry standards.
• Design tools such as behavioral indicators and proficiency levels to measure performance against competency standards.
• Facilitate talent reviews and calibration sessions to identify high‑potential employees and ready‑now successors.
• Develop and maintain Replacement Charts and Talent Maps to mitigate key‑person risks.
• Partner with employees and managers to create customized growth roadmaps.
• Design integrated development solutions, including coaching frameworks and mentoring programs.
• Curate formal training curricula aligned with identified competency gaps.
• Oversee cross‑functional projects or stretch assignments for practical talent development.
• Act as the primary point of contact for SMC Corporate HR.
