Human Resources Assistant / Associate – Labor Relations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Human Resources Assistant or Associate to support the Labor Relations (LR) Manager in maintaining industrial peace and ensuring compliance with labor policies and regulations. The role will serve as a key liaison between HR leadership, employees, and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the LR Manager in monitoring and preserving industrial harmony.
• Ensure the company’s adherence to labor laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop, review, and update labor‑relations policies and procedures.
• Interpret and apply relevant legislation and compliance standards within HR.
• Provide consultative support and influence HR leadership and other stakeholders on labor‑relations matters.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and communications related to labor‑relations activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Communication Arts, Social Sciences (e.g., Political Science, Economics) or related field; a JD or LLB is a plus.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in labor relations or HR compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
